I’m a big fan of hot chocolate. Always have been, always will be. For some reason it just puts me in a good mood. Even when I’m grinding out a long day at work, if I swing by the break room for a hot choc my spirits are going to be lifted. November is a tough month. It’s getting cold, it gets dark early, and a lot of people do start feeling the effects of the seasonal change. So we’re bringing in a warm and fun drink for November’s Drink of the Month.
- hot chocolate (5 oz)
- silver tequila (1.5 oz)
- elderflower liqueur (.5 oz)
Instructions are simple…pour hot chocolate, pour tequila, pour elderflower liqueur. You can mess around with the amounts if you want it stronger or weaker, but I have done some research and trial and error to come to these amounts. You can also get away without using the elderflower liqueur if you don’t feel like you need it. However, sometimes the extra touch is what establishes the difference between a good and a great cocktail. Trust me on this, the elderflower is a nice balancing touch.
Let me know what you think!
And as always, enjoy responsibly.
