Entertainment of the Week: February 5th to 11th

NFL Game of the Week: E-A-G-L-E-S, EAGLES!
There is no NFL game this week. However, I wanted to use the normal NFL slot one more time this season to congratulate The World Champion Philadelphia Eagles for winning their first every Super Bowl. An amazing story, as a team full of injuries led by Super Bowl MVP Nick Foles put up an incredible offensive performance against the New England Patriots to complete an incredible year. Congrats Eagles and Eagles fans everywhere.

NBA Game of the Week: Thunder at Warriors
There are a lot of great games in the NBA this week, making the NBA game of the week tough to pick. The Cavs go to Boston to play their old teammate Kyrie. The Celtics play the Raptors in a clash of the top two teams of the East. However, for pure entertainment purposes, my pick has to be the Thunder coming into Golden State to play the Warriors. Every game between these two teams has been fun to watch, despite occasional lopsided scores, because of all the drama around KD leaving OKC. Look for an exciting, passionate, and chippy game, with Paul George and Melo bringing their A-game to help Russ taken down KD, Steph, and the Warriors. Tune in to TNT at 10:30 Tuesday, February 6th.

EPL Game of the Week: Arsenal at Tottenham
The North London Darby is always one of the most exciting fixtures of the year. Both of these talented teams love to hate each other, and their hard-fought games every year are a testament to this. Tottenham and Arsenal are currently in 5th and 6th, respectively, but within striking distance of breaking back into the top 4, where each have generally been for the last few years. Arsenal’s new signing Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang scored on his debut as Arsenal crushed another of their rivals, Everton, last week. Tottenham’s sturdy defense will have a tough time keeping the new Gunner and Arsenal’s strong attack out. Tune in to NBCSN 7:30 am on Saturday, February 10th.

NHL Game of the Week: Golden Knights at Penguins
This is an exciting match up for a couple reasons. The Golden Knights are a great story this year, as they are currently at the top of the Western Conference in their first year in the NHL. After only a bit past the half way mark in the season, they’ve passed their projected points for the year. On top of that, their star goaltender, Marc Andre Fleury, returns to his old team, where in Pittsburgh he holds franchise records in just about every statistical category for goalies. Tune in at 7 pm on Tuesday, February 6th.

Movie Recommendation of the Week: The 15:17 to Paris
Clint Eastwood directs this real-life story that follows 3 friends caught in the midst of a terrorist attack on a high-speed railway that took place August 21st, 2015. The film follows the lives of the friends and the circumstances leading up to the attack. The awesome part of this movie is that the roles of the three men are played by those actually involved in the terrorist attack, Anthony Sadler, Alek Skarlatos, and Spencer Stone. It certainly will be interesting to see how their first-hand experience leads to emotional portrayals involving the attack.
