NFL Game of the Week: Falcons at Eagles
The Eagles come into their first playoff game of 2017 as the number one seed in the NFC, and look to win their first playoff game since 2008. Hopefully the Birds used their bye week to figure out how they can generate offense with Nick Foles at the helm, as MVP candidate Carson Wentz will obviously be inactive yet again after undergoing season ending ACL surgery. They’ll have to face a hot Atlanta team with plenty of weapons. Tune in to NBC at 4:35 pm on Saturday, January 13th.
NBA Game of the Week: Cavaliers at Raptors Raptors and Cavs are currently in 2nd and 3rd in the Eastern Conference, respectively, and are hungry to chase down the Celtics for the top spot in the East. Tune in to TNT at 8 pm on Thursday, January 11th. Drake will be there watching I’m sure, so you should watch too.
EPL Game of the Week: Manchester City at Liverpool Manchester City recently snapped an 18 game winning streak with a tie against Crystal Palace, but remain well ahead of the rest of the Premier League. Liverpool are currently in 4th, but just lost Philip Coutinho to Barcelona, and will face a huge test without the Brazilian play-maker in their midfield. Catch this clash on NBC Sports at 11:00 am on Sunday, January 14th
NHL Game of the Week: Wild at Blackhawks
Chicago looks to break into the top 8 and establish themselves as a playoff contender.. Minnesota is currently hold the last playoff spot in the West, so neither team will be looking to drop points in this one. Tune in to NBCSN at 8 pm Wednesday, January 10th.
Movie Recommendation of the Week: The Shape of Water I’m going with this movie this week because it seems fairly unique. Guillermo Del Toro is the director and The Shape of Water is supposed to make a splash (I thank you) at the Oscars this year. Science Fiction Romance is an interesting category for a film so we’ll see how this one turns out.
