The Influential Gentleman may be geared towards men becoming the best version of themselves that they can be, but I also want to spotlight women who are exemplifying the same core principles of the Influential Gentleman. Therefore, every Wednesday you can expect an article focused on an Influential Woman, either spotlighting the work they are accomplishing or their opinion on a specific topic that effects both men and women.
Who is Arianna Renee?
For our first ever Influential Women spotlight, I’m happy to introduce Arianna Renee, founder of The Mindful Lifestylist Blog. Arianna is a twenty-something, east coast native, originally from Bucks County PA and currently residing in the quaint town of Lambertville, NJ. She is a dog mom, blogger, spiritualist, and a Strategic Planner for a global Marketing and Advertising Agency in Hamilton, NJ and New York City.
Arianna always wanted to build her career in the communications industry, and solidified this dream during her time at Lock Haven University, a small school in the heart of Pennsylvania. Here, Arianna studied Communications with a triple concentration in Journalism, Public Relations & Advertising, and Business Communication. She has always enjoyed communicating, learning, connecting, and problem-solving, and utilizes these attributes in all of her endeavors.
I was privileged to speak with Arianna about her blog, the Mindful Lifestylist, and she was gracious enough to go into detail about what the blog means to her, and how we can learn to be mindful in our lifestyles as well.
Now, I’ll be honest, I had initially planned on using the information provided in our correspondence to convey through my writing the answers that Arianna had to my questions. However, after reading and re-reading her responses, I realized that there was true passion in her words; a passion that I wouldn’t be able to do justice to by simply regurgitating in my own style of writing. So, I’m going to give Arianna’s unabridged, detailed, passionate words below so you can really understand just why this Influential Woman does what she does.
What does it mean to be a Mindful Lifestylist?
Arianna: Most people are familiar with what a stylist is – wardrobe stylist, interior decor stylist, etc. Think of me as a life stylist who specializes in mindfulness. What is mindfulness? Mindfulness is a lifestyle practice rooted in four fundamental areas: consciousness, personal evolution, happiness, and well-being.
All that said, I believe the greatest, most effective leaders lead by example, so my approach to blogging is all about truly being the Mindful Lifestylist, and sharing my insights, experiences, and tips to inspire people who are seeking to achieve personal fulfillment in every aspect of life.
What motivated you to turn your thoughts to paper and share your attitude with others via the blog?
I first had the idea to start a blog almost four years ago, although initially, I wanted it to be an online magazine, since at the time blogs were still pretty unheard of. I wanted to call it Passion Project because I’ve always thrived on passion and inspiration, and I believe people are the best expression of themselves when they feel passionate and inspired as well.
A core component of my earlier vision was to inspire people through spotlighting individuals, organizations, businesses, etc. who are living out their dreams and passions. It wasn’t the right time in my life to create it, but the spirit of it shines through in The Mindful Lifestylist, and I carried through a lot of my other ideas to this blog as well. I’m in the midst of re-branding right now, and interestingly enough I’ve incorporated a spotlight section, so it’s all coming full circle which is pretty cool.
I’ve realized my true passion and purpose in life is to help change the world by inspiring and teaching people how to live a Mindful, Heart-Centered life, starting with myself first and foremost. I will explain what I mean by “heart-centered” when I re-launch the blog this year.
I suppose the turning point for me to finally bite the bullet and create The Mindful Lifestylist was after all the political drama in 2016, and personally refusing to accept that the way things are today is the right way when too many people, animals, and the planet are suffering. I’m a big advocate for being the change you want to see in the world, so this is part of my mission to live up to that wholeheartedly.
You mentioned recently on Instagram and again during your last response about re-branding your blog. Without giving much away, what is inspiring this re-brand and what can we look forward to?
Mindfulness is definitely still a core component of it, but through my own continued growth and studies, I’ve learned there are universal principles applicable to everyone, and Mindfulness as a practice to help live out those principles. I’m incorporating lifestyle inspiration and strategies to help tie it all together. I’m so glad I launched when I did though, because what I’ve learned from the whole experience is invaluable.
I’d recommend to anyone who’s thinking of starting a blog to go for it! Planning is important, but if it doesn’t feel 100% that’s ok. Experience is our greatest teacher and we can always refine. In my case, I always felt like there was more to the brand, and in recent months it became clearer and clearer that expansion was a necessity, so I decided to pause, draw back in, and revisit the brand-building process . Don’t worry! I will be back up and running within the next month.
What advice can you offer someone looking to start the process of becoming more mindful?
Ask yourself: Are my thoughts, feelings, words, and actions in alignment? If they’re not, then you can’t expect your reality to reflect that which you desire. If you want to make a change in your life, start with your thoughts. In time, thoughts turn into beliefs, which turn into reality. We are incredible beings who have the innate ability to literally train our minds and condition them to think a certain way, therefore dictating our reality.

As Arianna mentioned briefly in her interview, she is currently going through the process of re-branding her blog in a way that both includes the mentality of The Mindful Lifestylist, but pushes and expands further into heart-centered living. While I and many other of her mindful followers await this re-brand, check out The Mindful Lifestylist and treat yourself to a variety of content geared to help us all be more rooted in consciousness, personal evolution, happiness, and well-being.

Arianna is a spectacular example of an Influential Woman. I look forward to continuing forth in our friendship, and to having her back on the blog in the future to speak on further issues that could use this expert in mindfulness.
