Since I once again waited far too long into the month to deliver a cocktail, we’re going to keep it nice and simple with a timeless favorite: the classic margarita.
Be careful, this beverage dangerous, as it is both high in alcohol content, delicious, and refreshing. Be sure to pace yourself.
Ingredients:
- 2 oz of tequila (silver)
- 1 oz of lime juice
- 1 oz of Cointreau
- salt
- ice
- lime (optional, really only for aesthetic purposes)
Instructions:
In a chilled glass, rub lime juice on the rim and then dip the rim into your salt. Fill glass with crushed or cubed ice.
In a cocktail shaker, add tequila, lime juice, Cointreau, and ice. Shake, then strain into your chilled glass. Put a lime in there if you want to make the presentation slightly better, as it won’t really do much.
Enjoy!
